Transparent Blocs Introduced
The first Logiblocs were either Grey or Blue. Then the Buyer at Harrods suggested that it would be fun to use primary colours instead so we ended up with Red, Yellow, Orange and Blue blocs. But, at this stage the plastic was opaque and you couldn't see inside them. Several of our trade customers suggested (politely) that the product might have a higher perceived value if people could see inside the blocs to see how complicated and special they were. So, in September 1999, it was Out with the old Opaque blocs and In with the New Transparent blocs. These let you see inside and make the Logiblocs even cooler.
